I usually love the rain, but enough is enough! Quite a few counties here in Oregon are flooded, and those that aren't are getting snow!  2 people (and a cat) have already died because of the flooding! :cries: The rain has stopped for now, but more is coming.  I live fairly close to the Willamette River and I've been holding my breath because it's about ready to crest on my side!  The last time if flooded here was in 1996, and my new home doesn't sit up as high as my old own.  Fingers-crossed that this is as bad as it gets :fingerscrossed:

For the pat 3 weeks, my dad and I have been building a pergola on the side of my house (tunnel would probably be a more accurate term since it's 26 ft long :giggle:).  We did manage to finish it yesterday, but not before a 2X4 broke two of my fingers on my dominant hand :( .  I will be seeing a hand specialist on Thursday, but most likely I won't be able to use it very much.  I'm very bummed since this is my favorite time of the year to take photos;  In the meantime, I will be going through all the photos I took during the spring  and summer and putting them up.  I guess that is one positive that came out of this unfortunate accident.
